Armor Sprayer

First time used it to apply AR350. The sprayer worked well and held up great with the solvent in the sealer. Very well made and Customer support was great. One thing to watch for is it came in a shipping box with a store-shelf box inside. For some reason the Viton washers needed for some solvents were in the shipping box and not the display box which was easy to miss. The online videos were helpful so don't miss those.Be sure to review the instructions for allowed cleaning solvents. AR350 recommended Xylene or acetone for cleanup but Xylene is not recommended for the sprayer.

I bought the Foundation Armor Sprayer specifically because it could handle Xylene and Xylene based sealants. The sprayer does come with upgraded Viton o-ring for inside the pump however the check valve at the bottom of the pump which sees 100% of your spray liquid is still EPDM. I had to use both of the supplied EPDM check valves the first two times I used the sprayer. This was with 100% Xylene since I was stripping old sealer but neither vakve survived 1 hr of use. The viton o-ring inside the pump allows the sprayer to maintain pressure but the failed check valve refers the pump useless to add more pressure for continued use. The check valve design or material needs.to be upgraded as well to make this sprayer does what it says it will do. I don't know yet if it will handle Xylene based sealer better than 100% Xylene. I will have to add a Schrader valve in order to pressure the tank.

I have used Foundation Armor AR350 sealer twice now. It is easy to apply and looks teriffic. The product is not cheap but you truly get what you pay for. This is a high quality sealer. I highly recommed it if you are looking for a nice finished look on a driveway or colored walkway. I am very pleased with my results.
