FAQs
Can I use to apply a penetrating Silane-Siloxane sealer?
No, the Armor Roller Kits should not be used to apply penetrating sealers because penetrating sealers should only be applied with sprayer. Applying a penetrating sealer with a roller will dramatically reduce the coverage of the sealer and can lead to an uneven application.
Should I use a roller or sprayer to apply an acrylic sealer?
When it comes to applying acrylic sealers to pavers, sprayers are typically preferred to avoid issues with the grout and to help maximize coverage. If you aren't experienced with a sprayer or prefer to use a roller, rollers are also a great way to apply acrylic sealers to pavers.
What size roller should I get?
The Armor Roller kit is available in three sizes: 3", 9", and 18". The 3" roller is great for applying sample-size sealers, and for applying acrylic sealers to small or tight areas. The 9" kit is great for most small applications and the 18" kit is great for medium to large applications. Which roller you choose is dependent on comfort and preference.
